The Happy Jammers Team

Fish is a sound engineer and musician. On leaving university, he went on tour with The Footlights before becoming a pro musician both touring and working in West End shows for many years. During this time he also worked in recording studios, for companies designing and building sound equipment and installed theatre sound systems. He plays with various bands (guitars, bass, mandolin, banjo, etc.), and also enjoys mentoring young bands. He is Grandmaster Jammer!

Richard is a sound engineer and project manager. He started doing disco’s in the late 70’s due to his love of music. He started putting on live music events in the early 90’s and has been sound engineering for about five years. He says “Delivering a really great event is the best buzz I know”.

John is a rigger, roadie and professional driver. When he left school, he went to work as a roadie for Status Quo, and thereafter worked with numerous different chart bands such as The Real Thing as well as for Mickey Most. He also started to DJ in the 70’s, and became a resident DJ at the Café Royal. His buzz is running the light shows at gigs.

Graham has been DJ ‘ing for over 40 years, and has a regular customer list that includes people so famous we can’t mention them here. He also has put on many live music events over the years. He still loves working as a DJ, MC’ing and developing great light shows.

Tim is an electrical engineer who has been working for over 20 years on big events and tours. He has worked as a lighting engineer and pyrotechnics specialist for the likes of the Spice Girls and Pink Floyd. Say no more!!

Mark is experienced in installing sound systems in bars and clubs, and has a passion for collecting and fixing old amplifiers. Along with working at gigs, he also helps with servicing kit and doing the uncompromisingly boring PAT testing stuff. Bit of a hero, really.

Rick has been singing and playing in bands ever since his voice broke and he started picking guitar strings rather than….. Anyway, along with gigging, he has been setting up and delivering live shows for years, and is reknowned for his witty and engaging MC persona.

Sonia sings with a couple of bands and is in charge of all things ‘happiness’ with the Jammers. She founded and organises the Silchester Music Festival, an event put on by us allowing young bands the opportunity of playing in front of a big crowd.
